KBS Staff Members and Student Recognized at Board Meeting

On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, Max Nickel, fourth grade student was recognized at the Monroe County Board of Education meeting for the winning publication of his poem, Sweet Africa.


Mrs. Melissa Smith, Guidance Counselor, was recognized for winning the School Bell Award for the Roundtable Chatter mentoring program, which was implemented during the 2015-16 school year.


The following faculty members were recognized for their years of service to the Monroe County school system:  Leigh Hanson (5 years), Jason Morrow (10 years), Johnnie Skelton (10 years), Sheri Williams (10 years), Leanna Linnenkohl (10 years), Misti Sikes (10 years), and Joanne Binns (25 years).
