I started my teaching career in Monroe County in 1994.  I am in my 22nd year of teaching.  In 2009, I was named the gifted teacher at K.B. Sutton Elementary School.  I currently teach gifted math for all Kindergarten through fifth grade gifted students in Monroe County.

In 2005, I was named Monroe County's Teacher of the Year.
