All KBS families are invited to join us NEXT Tuesday, November 12, 2024 for our Family STEAM Night at KBS! The Art show will be held in the gym and will open at 4:30pm, grade level STEM activities will begin at 5:30pm and PTO will begin serving pizza at 6pm. This event is drop-in style and will end at 7pm. All students who attend will receive a STEM kit and a homework pass for that night's written homework. We hope to see you there!

We are so proud of our 4th and 5th grade students who participated in our grade level spelling bee. Congratulations to our top 4th grade students and top ten 5th grade students for making it to our school level spelling bee that will be held in December. A special shout out to our top spellers, Alafin J. and Piper S.!

Christmas is coming soon! The generosity of our local community has always been such a blessing for our families in need during the holidays. This year we have about 250 students in need of Christmas gifts this holiday season. Our school counselors and/or Parent & Family Engagement Specialists will reach out to you with your angel's information no later than Friday, November 22, 2024. We are also taking donations of individual items that will go to families in need. If you would like to donate individual items, please drop them off at the Monroe County Board of Education no later than Monday, December 2, 2024 (25 Brooklyn Avenue Forsyth, GA) Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. All monetary donations for our Angel Tree Project can be made out to "Bulldog Blessings" and mailed to the Monroe County Board of Education (25 Brooklyn Avenue Forsyth, GA) to the attention of Dr. Jessica Evans. Your thoughtfulness and generosity this holiday season is truly appreciated!
